Alone - Lonely - Single

"Alone" normally translates to "một mình".

"Lonely" normally translates to "cô đơn".

" Single" normally translates to "độc thân".
- Are you single or married?
But I like this word in this usage:

Now I'm at home alone. Everybody went on May day Holiday. But I have to stay on my duty to finish my thesis. Being alone but not being lonely, because I have many things to do. There isn't any single moment to think about that. In addition, I love my single life now, I can do whatever I like. My 20s is being spent for learning, freedom and joy.

昨天我玩儿跟James一起围棋。 我像中国人一样。 这个服务员想我不是美国人。 我教James这个Japanese counting style。 我们和一点儿啤酒。 过一会儿，我们回家。 I lost. 我的朋友打电话我。 她想我去酒吧，我上车告诉他：　“你知道这个地方吗？”　Pointing 在我的手机。 这个酒吧叫 Sky in Sky. 她是十分漂亮不过有一个毛病。

在四点钟早上我回家。 我上车告诉他: 中电大厦， 他说来： 吉大? 我说：对了。 我不用英语，没有人帮忙我。

很多人帮忙我学习普通话。 更最是我的青年朋友。 他们是很好人。

我的老板也是好人。 我是可以去下一月美国的。

Inversion and emphasis

Disappointment succeeds hopefulness, hopefulness succeeds disappointment, over and over again... To know how this feeling is interesting, chose Pharmaceutical department to be the place where you do your thesis.

I've been working hard for over past 2 months without any single day off. Regularly do I leave home when my sister isn't yet to get up and get home when she's had dinner already. Sometimes I work 15 hours per day in lab, from 7am to 10pm. I'm craving for a sleep of just without setting alarm clock... All for waiting for today's experiment result. But barely is it good. My professor wants its better. And I must continue. When will I have a break? Try as I may, I wouldn't have finished it by the end of this month. Is there any case should I have to keep fighting till the final second?

There's no excuse for me complaining. I did chose it. I do chose it. Failure doesn't mean coming back to zero. Success brings glory, Failure brings experience. Everything has its own price.

It's time to go to sleep. Set your alarm clock or you have no time to have breakfast tomorrow, girl.

How to take a job done well

I'm glad to contribute to this blog, but I don't know how to take a job done well here. What should I write? If everything can be ok, I'll let my glass of English drop here ;p

Mike said he hated the word "alone", and someone around him often used that one. I don't know how Chinese use this word, but in Vietnamese, "alone" means "cô đơn", but sometimes it means "độc thân". "Độc thân" and "cô đơn" have the similar meaning, but "cô đơn" is used to explain the feeling, and hence, it is a sad word. "Độc thân" is often used to explain single state. I'm yet to get married, so I'm "độc thân"."Cô đơn" is a scaried word, but "độc thân" is not. I'm getting round to enjoy my single life :D

I hated this word, now that I am in China alone. I am getting to know this word better. 没有女爱人，没有女朋友。 谁吻吻我？ 哦，我也不喜欢很多蚊子。 你喜不喜欢吗？

I love being a teacher, I try hard to develop my skills each day, each minute. Although, I do not like my company. They are frugal and two faced. They are not humanitarian either.
